COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina football now has a kickoff time for its first game out of the bye week. The Gamecocks will host No. 14 Tennessee at Williams-Brice Stadium at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, with the game on national television.
South Carolina sits at 3-3 overall and 1-3 in the SEC after sitting out Saturday. Its lone league win so far came a week earlier, a 38-19 rout at Florida.
Tennessee arrives with plenty of momentum. The Volunteers knocked off sixth-ranked Alabama 26-10 at Neyland Stadium on Saturday, leaning on the leg of Cooper Ranvier, who made field goals of 29, 33, 41 and 34 yards, while DeSean Bishop ran for two touchdowns, both from 5 yards out.
It will be the Vols’ first visit to Columbia since 2022, when the Gamecocks routed a fifth-ranked Tennessee team 63-38 and knocked it out of the College Football Playoff picture. The schools last met in 2023 in Knoxville, a Tennessee win, and the SEC schedule shuffle that followed the arrival of Oklahoma and Texas in 2024 kept them apart since.
Tennessee owns the all-time series 29-11-2.
