GREENVILLE, S.C. — Furman’s women’s soccer team brings a six-match unbeaten streak into a Southern Conference home date with Chattanooga in Greenville on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is 2 p.m. at Stone Soccer Stadium’s Seagraves Field.
Furman sits at 9-3-3, including 4-0-2 against league opponents, after edging UNC Greensboro 2-1 at home Thursday, a win that pulled them into a share of second place. Goalkeeper Reese DeJong stopped a penalty kick with 14:03 left in that match, and Furman has gone 8-1-3 over its last 12 games.
Chattanooga arrives at 8-2-4 and 4-1-1 in the SoCon. The Mocs had a program-record 10-match unbeaten run snapped Thursday in a 1-0 home loss to Samford, their first league defeat of the season.
Furman owns the series at 30-1-3, but recent meetings have been tight. Chattanooga picked up its only win over the Paladins in 2024 with a 1-0 result in Greenville, and three of the last four matchups have finished level, including a 1-1 draw last October in Chattanooga.
Admission to Sunday’s match is free, and the game will stream on ESPN+.
