Riverside: The Warriors are seeded No. 1 in the Upper State for Class AAAA and for good reason. Riverside (14-2) is the state’s fourth-best offensive team, averaging 14.2 points per game, and the fourth-best defensive team, allowing only 6.3 points per game. Despite early and late-season losses, they managed to win 13 straight games in between.

Spartanburg: The Vikings are having one of the best seasons in program history. Holding a record of 14-1, Spartanburg is a No. 1 seed in the Class AAAAA Upper State. With a seven-game winning streak, they have showcased a strong defense, holding opponents to two goals or fewer seven times this season.

T.L. Hanna: The Yellow Jackets, following their first winning season last year, have earned a No. 1 seed in the playoffs. With a record of 12-1, they will face Byrnes in a home game at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Despite a late-season stumble, the Jackets had already secured the top spot in their district.

Players to Watch

Carlie Balck, Greenville: Leading Greenville with 51 goals and 66 points, Balck has been instrumental in the Red Raiders’ success this season, with the team ranking fifth in the state with 220 goals scored.

Isabella Bright, Riverside: Bright ranks fourth in the state in total points with 104, sixth in goals with 72, and tenth in assists. The junior has an impressive 171 career goals.

Tatum Hill, Riverside: Leading Riverside and among the state leaders in ground balls recovered, Hill also contributes offensively with 22 goals and nine assists.

Caeylyn Little, T.L. Hanna: Little ranks second in the state with 52 assists and has proven her scoring ability with 62 goals over the past two seasons.

Dylan Meagher, J.L. Mann: The sophomore goalie leads the state in save percentage at .685, playing a crucial role in J.L. Mann’s pursuit of a second consecutive state final appearance.

Jessica Mikesell, Christ Church: Mikesell, with 60 goals, 21 assists, and 81 points, ranks among the top scorers in the state. Christ Church, a No. 2 seed in Class AAAA Upper State, looks to build on their success from last season.

Evers Morris, Spartanburg: The sophomore standout has 58 goals, 25 assists, and 83 points, contributing significantly to Spartanburg’s impressive season.

Sophie Pavlik, Byrnes: Leading Byrnes with 46 goals and 59 points, Pavlik recently reached a career milestone of 200 goals, showcasing her scoring prowess.

Morgan Siglin, Wade Hampton: Siglin leads the state in goals with 126 and points with 161. Her recent performance, scoring 30 goals in the last three games, has been crucial for Wade Hampton’s success.

Olivia Wallach, T.L. Hanna: Wallach ranks third in the state with 77 goals and 11th in points with 84. With an impressive 18 goals in the final two regular-season games, she is a key player to watch in the playoffs.
