Athletic Program Overview
Fountain Inn High School opened in August 2021 as Greenville County’s first new high school in approximately 50 years, built to relieve overcrowding at Mauldin and Hillcrest high schools. The $84 million, 229,000-square-foot facility at 644 Quillen Avenue adopted the Fury nickname and colors of navy, maroon, and grey—a deliberate tribute to the color palettes of Fountain Inn’s segregation-era schools. Competing in SCHSL Class 4A Region 1, Fountain Inn grew from a freshman-only class in 2021 to a full 9-12 enrollment of 1,608 students by 2024-25.
The Fury compete across the full slate of varsity sports. Game schedules, scores, and standings auto-populate from the HERE Game Day and Game Score systems.
This page covers the program’s core varsity sports: football, basketball (boys and girls), baseball, soccer (boys and girls), and golf (boys and girls). Game schedules, scores, and standings auto-populate from the HERE Game Day and Game Score systems.
