Athletic Program Overview
Greer High School, established in 1895 in a one-room log cabin, is one of the oldest continuously operating high schools in Greenville County and relocated to its current campus on Gap Creek Road in 1998. The Yellow Jackets nickname and black-and-gold colors were adopted alongside the school’s coat of arms in 1935. Greer competes in SCHSL Class 4A Region 2 alongside regional rivals Blue Ridge and Travelers Rest in a competitive upstate South Carolina region.
The Yellow Jackets compete across the full slate of varsity sports. Game schedules, scores, and standings auto-populate from the HERE Game Day and Game Score systems.
