A new The polling firm survey of 1,200 South Carolina likely voters, taken September 28 and 29, puts Darline Graham, the Republican, at 46 percent and Annie Andrews, the Democrat, at 45 percent in the U.S. Senate race.

Other candidates together are at 5 percent. On the pollster's release, that split is Mark Hackett at 3 percent and Kasie Whitener at 2 percent, and a separate account of the same survey prints those two names at those same figures. Undecided is 4 percent.
