Online and electronic voter registration had to be received by Sunday, Oct. 4. Mailed registration applications had to be postmarked by Monday, Oct. 5. In-person registration at most county offices closed earlier that week. Residents who already missed those cutoffs cannot newly register for this general election cycle.

On the ballot calendar debate track, Republican Sen. Darline Graham, Democrat Annie Andrews, and Kasie Whitener are confirmed for a U.S. Senate debate Saturday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. from public television studios in Columbia. The event will air live across the statewide public television and radio network and digital platforms. It is not open to an in-person public audience.

For Greenville residents watching statewide races, the sequence is now set: tonight governor debate, Saturday Senate forum in Columbia, early voting beginning Oct. 19, and Election Day on Nov. 3. County election offices publish early voting locations on the state elections website.
