RICHMOND, Va. — Greenville Triumph SC signed off on its USL League One season Saturday night with a 1-0 road victory over the Richmond Kickers at City Stadium.
Rodrigo Robles provided the only goal, finding the net early in the second half to put the visitors in front. From there the Upstate club leaned on its goalkeeper.
Seth Torman turned away seven shots to keep Richmond off the board and post the clean sheet, closing out a road result that let Greenville finish its campaign on a winning note.
The win was the final match on the Triumph schedule this year. Between seasons, the club runs its front office and team store at 22 S. Main St. in downtown Greenville, and its home matches are played at the stadium on Bridgeway Boulevard in Simpsonville.
