GREENVILLE, S.C. — Danny Thomas Watson, a 64-year-old Greenville man, will spend 10 years in state prison after pleading guilty this week to sexually abusing two children, the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office said.
Watson admitted to a third-degree charge of criminal sexual conduct involving a minor. He entered the plea on Wednesday at a hearing where prosecutors laid out the evidence, which ended with the 10-year prison term.
Two 12-year-olds told law enforcement in September 2025 that Watson had abused them. Prosecutors said he confessed. The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office handled the investigation.
Beyond the prison time, Watson must register as a sex offender and will be listed on the state Central Registry of Child Abuse and Neglect. He will also wear a GPS monitor for life.
