FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. — A sprawling 500-acre property near Fountain Inn went up for sale on Oct. 30 with a $30 million price tag, an ask that would rewrite the record books for Upstate homes if a buyer bites.
The estate sits at 2967 Allen Bridge Road and is listed through Herlong Sotheby’s International Realty. Its main house has eight bedrooms in about 15,000 square feet, with a theater, gym, sauna, resort-style pool, a garage for six cars and both a library and a primary closet that rise two stories.
Outside, the land runs along Durbin Creek and holds several spring-fed ponds, four barns, plus a second house for a caretaker or guests that has its own two-car garage. The listing pitches the mix of open fields and mature woods for horses, hobby farming or other recreation.
The Upstate record for a single home stands at $10.099 million, paid in March 2025 for a 7,400-square-foot house at 473 Peninsula Ridge on Lake Keowee. Two Keowee homes now for sale, asking $11.995 million and $12.75 million, could top that first. Near Simpsonville, the 54-acre Circle Creek Farm asked $22 million in 2023 but never sold.
For a sense of scale, the median sale price across Greenville County was $319,900 in 2025, and homes in the region priced above $1 million sold at a median of $1.2 million from January through March of 2026.
