GREENVILLE, S.C. — Giant LEGO cities, castles and trains are on display at the Greenville Convention Center this weekend as the Brick Fan Event returns for two days on Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8.
The expo is set up in the Woodside Conference Hall at the convention center, 1 Exposition Dr. Its listing bills the show as the state’s biggest LEGO convention and expects thousands of fans over the weekend.
Along with the fan-built displays, the weekend lineup includes STEM and interactive activities, games, contests, panels, vendors and a magician. Contestants from the LEGO Masters television competition and professional builders are among the special guests scheduled to appear.
Younger visitors can build their own brick race car at a hands-on station and then send it down a track to see how it runs.
Organizers recommend buying tickets ahead of time, and children 3 and younger get in free. Ticket details and hours are posted on the event website, BrickFanEvent.com.
