The driver of the Nissan, identified as 24-year-old Jalen Wright of Greenville, tragically died on the scene. Earlier on Sunday morning, a separate incident involved an 18-year-old from Dayton who was injured in a crash that originated from a stolen vehicle. The vehicle theft was reported shortly after 3:45 a.m., leading police to locate the stolen vehicle near North Broadway Street. Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver fled, resulting in a short pursuit. The chase came to a halt when the suspect crashed into a traffic circle and a building on South Broadway Street. The driver was apprehended at the scene and taken to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Consequently, the individual now faces multiple felony charges related to this incident.
